Olympic Fashion Insiration 2012

With the Olympics moving ever closer, I thought I'd create a post with many designs I've found in which sports inspiration is clearly shown.

It's not just the London 2012 Olympics that have created a bond between fashion and sports. Both Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen have designed collections for sports labels: McCartney for Adidas and McQueen for Puma. Marc Jacobs and Luella have also designed trainers for Vans.

Here are my chosen designs from Resort 2013 collections and Autumn/Winter 2012 collections:

3.1 Phillip Lim Autumn/Winter 2012

Stella McCartney Autumn/Winter 2012

Ohne Titel Autumn/Winter 2012

Ohnel Titel Resort 2013

NAHM Resort 2013

Richard Chai Love Resort 2013

Preen Resort 2013

Christopher Kane Resort 2013

Stella McCartney Team GB for London Olympics 2012

Fashion Design Course said...

I have been working in the fashion industry for 10 years now, and I found finding a fashion job when first starting out a little difficult, but I have come across some great websites that had quality fashion positions: www.ragtradejobs.com and www.fashionfirst.com.au .Everybody wants experience first, which can be hard if it’s your first fashion job, however I found doing a short course in Fashion Design a great way to get experience and knowledge of the industry. La Mode College has some great short courses, and they include how to get work experience as well. They have a short eBook on how to get into the fashion industry and become a Professional Fashion Designer. Worth a read! Hope this post was helpful!!
