Hello,

I'm Kate: a post-graduate of Buckinghamshire New University after studying Printed Textiles and gaining a 2:1 (I'm very proud of this).

I have a passion for all things design: fashion, textiles, illustration and design. Whilst my desired career path may lie in Buying and Merchandising, I will always have on-going side projects in design. I currently have a small scarf design business; miel / b. I started this blog way back in my second year of University. Though I didn't pay much attention to it then, as I entered my third year I became enlightened to the perks of regular blogging: finding out information on the Internet I perhaps wouldn't have otherwise, being inspired by things I saw in my everyday life and immediately wanting to blog about them, and just the general delight of writing about things I loved that I could share with every body out there. 

As I neared the end of my degree, I found that helping other students and graduates getting their work out there was a lovely thing to do, so I introduced my 'Graduate Profiles' which does as it says on the tin, and later created my 'Floral Friday' feature, where I would pick a designer who's floral designs inspired me.

You'll also notice I have a 'I can't stop listening to..' feature on a Thursday. This is purely because I love music, it makes life better, so I wanted to share that with people too.

All in all, this blog is full of things I love, hence the name. Enjoy.
